I've had the opportunity to read lots of how-to guides/courses on this and many other subjects, just this volume is surely something different. Written in the way everyone tin can understand, the author managed to explain complicated theories and facts about how to see, understand and reproduce the colors around united states of america (and non only that). From how to prepare your working area to the science behind the colors, this book isn't a simple "painting in color for dummies" guide but a fantastic lecture that will surely provoke many of those "Aha!" moments forth the way. This book is something I'd recommend not only to art students or art appreciators just to those who would like to understand a bit more the world of colors and what they mean in our everyday lives.show more
